Samantha Holden is a casting director based in New York City. Originally from a small town upstate New York, her love for cinema began with trips to the local drive-in and movie theater which offered an escape in her otherwise quiet hometown. When in college she used editorials from old magazines as wallpaper manifesting her love for photography as well. 

After graduating from Full Sail University and acting in several short films, she discovered that casting allowed her to blend her love for directing and acting.

In NYC, Sam interned and assisted top casting directors before starting her own career. She now casts for advertising, film, and fashion shows, focusing on authenticity and inclusion not only to reflect the world as it is but to push the entertainment business towards greater diversity, and to continually strive to do better as an industry.
